If I remember its how many times the thread is viewed regardless if it’s the same person. Don’t take my word on it but im fairly sure thats what it is.
If you’re talking about the views number for a topic, then yes, it is dependent upon how many times it is clicked and viewed, no matter if it is the same person or not.
